Mr. Big Shot by RS Grey

Grumpy boss is one thing, but MR BIG SHOT is the guy that has the underlings sweating and scurrying in his presence - and he loves it. When the boss’s daughter is assigned to his legal team all intraoffice resentment and gossip seems directed at her, but she is the kind of woman that rises above it.

The tone goes from flirty to intense to “hands off, we work together” so you’ll enjoy the journey.  I can’t end the review without commenting on Moira.  I’m not a cat person, but I loved this character.

To Have and To Hate by R.S. Grey

Elizabeth gets one night to adjust to getting married to Walt the next day in a marriage of convenience necessary to save her entitled family from financial and social ruin.  Walt’s view of the marriage is illustrated when they depart after the wedding and he says, “Have s nice life.”

I loved the story because Elizabeth was so sincere and unselfish almost to a fault.  The chemistry was incredible even though there were not a great deal out outward displays of affection.  Walts intensity was confusing for Elizabeth.  At times he was dismissive, and at other times seemed to have little control over his feelings.

The best part of the romance was each going out of their way to do something for the other even though they didn’t know if their feelings were returned.  It was the best kind of slow burn that kept the reader on the edge of their seat.  You won’t be disappointed reading this book.
