Stealing Home by Tara Wyatt

STEALING HOME is an okay book.  I didn’t get any strong feelings about it.  I think there were some missed opportunities that would have added interested to the story - the angle with Dylan’s father, for example.  I thought Dylan’s idea of how to get Maggie to trust him again quite unbelievable.

Bad Intentions by Tara Wyatt

So The eldest Prescott brother ends up being the last bachelor to fall, but he’s had a secret crush on Olivia since her 21st birthday.

When Olivia’s life is in danger, Lucian finally gives in to his feelings to protect her from the threat.  He’s not only possessive and protective of Olivia, but he exudes confidence not from his business holdings, but from his role in underworld justice.

Olivia is smart and sassy.  She knew what she wanted when she met Lucian the first time.  I like the two of them because once Lucian starts realizing they can’t deny themselves anymore, they are the couple with no game playing in the relationship.  Any angst in the book is from clashes with secondary characters.

There is kidnapping, blood, “closed door torture”, and a decent body count.  One call had to be put in for some emergency clean up.  Good story on both the mafia and romance (steamy) side.
