I think the best part about WINDOW SHOPPING is the unique lead characters and their back stories. So many romance novels today are so predictable, so when I come across some unique characters, professions, conflicts or romantic journeys, the author’s talents are much appreciated.

Same Time Next Year by Tessa Bailey
I knew when I started reading SAME TIME NEXT YEAR I was going to wish for more story with these two characters. The ache of unrequited love, the pain of past betrayal and the faith that love with last forever makes this my kind of romance. That and the hot hockey guy with the spicy language.

Officer Off Limits by Tessa Bailey
Story Brooks gets dumped by her fiancé the same day her father has a heart attack on the other side of the country. She meets OFFICE OFF LIMITS while visiting her father in the hospital. The work together as hostage negotiators.
Story’s dad knows what a ladies’ man Daniel is and one hand asks him to keep an eye on her while on the other hand telling him to keep his hands off his daughter.
The story that unfolds is one with two people that fall in love instantly, don’t realize it and keep making excuses why they are not good enough for each other.
The way Tessa Bailey tells the story is with a whole lot of heart, some humor and a thoughtful look at what motivates troubled people and how they rise above their circumstances.
It’s a really romantic story. I enjoyed every page.

My Killer Vacation by Tessa Bailey
I chose to read MY KILLER VACATION because: Tessa Bailey wrote it, it had a rough around the edges bounty hunter and, there was going to e suspense and mystery mixed in with the romance.
All that was delivered with the grumpy/sunshine duo. It was plenty steamy between the two and Myles turned out to be very protective of Taylor. At times I thought Myles lost some of his grumpy points when we learned what he was thinking.
The mystery theme of the story was fine. It isn’t really the main focus of the book. It’s the element that drives the relationships.

Hook, Line and Sinker by Tessa Bailey
I can’t remember the last time I read a book and literally felt the tension between the characters as I turned each page. HOOK, LINE AND SINKER is a novel that takes love to this level that is filled with aching chemistry which must be denied to be fully appreciated.
I knew I was going to love Fox and Hannah from their first appearance in IT HAPPENED ONE SUMMER. I finished that book thinking I would devour the next story if it were about Fox. What I didn’t know was why I would love these two characters so much. The role they take is the story is one thing, but what they end up doing for one another is everything.
As I became engrossed in the story, I wanted it to slow down so I wouldn’t have to leave these two so soon. The epilogue was badly needed in order for me to be satisfied that Fox and Hannah had made it.

Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey
The romance between this good girl and bad boy is frustrating, steamy and leaves the reader breathless at times. Georgie has been in love with her brother’s best friend Travis forever, and Travis has been living the life of a playboy baseball star keeping his feeling out of it.
When Travis’ injury ends his baseball career, he is faced with living with his past and deciding g his future. Georgie is right there, not pulling any punches, but caring what happens to him even if he doesn’t want her to.
I really enjoyed the story especially when the women decided to get together to empower each other to help themselves. Georgie transformed into a stronger person, but every bit as caring. It’s a great story and romance.
