One With You by Sylvia Day

ONE WITH YOU tied up all the loose ends, left a few things open ended, and stuck a few unexpected twists into the mix.  Fortunately, Eva and Gideon finally have their act together while everyone around them falls apart.

The series was good.  It was not what I expected.  It was dark in a tragic way rather than dark in a devilish way.

Captivated By You by Sylvia Day

Gideon is a mess and Eva won’t give him an evening of peace.  Then they hit the sack.  The next day someone with a grudge sticks another monkey wrench in the works and the pattern continues.

I don’t know who is more exhausted, Gideon or me.  Ok, yes I do.  It’s Gideon.  He still seems to have an entire walk in closet full of dirty laundry to air, figuratively.  And air it he does with Eva’s persistence.

Well, I obviously must read the last book because there are so many unanswered questions and unexposed secrets.  I also have to see if these two ever get a happy ending.

Entwined With You by Sylvia Day

The number of lunch dates these characters make boggles my mind.

But I digress.  The book continues to intrigue me although it is getting more and more complicated and mysterious?  Eva now trusts Gideon, but I’m not so sure he should be trusted.  He is always five steps ahead of things making him appear like a puppet master, then he has what sounds like a truthful explanation.

The two make a great couple because Gideon has women in love with him and so does Eva.  Very messy at times.

Reflected In You (Crossfire book 2) by Sylvia Day

Neither Eva nor Gideon showed one another many likable traits but we will learn why in this part of the book.  Light will be shed on the impact  of their broken pasts.

Bared To You (Crossfire Book 1) by Sylvia Day

Reading this book is almost like watching a car in front of you swerving back and forth across the lanes.  You are still moving forward but know the accident is waiting to happen.

Gideon is an intense, steamy and somewhat dangerous possessive alpha.  Eva seems to be so sensible that you have to wonder why she doesn’t see the red flags.

So the verdict is that the Crossfire series if worthy enough for me to carry on.
