Second chance romances are my current favorites and LOVE, UTLEY is really good. Bot characters are generous, loving people and they got separated in an unlucky series of circumstances. How they reunite and reconnect is why I read romance. Sigh-worthy.

Hans by SJ Tilly

If you have been reading the series in order, we’ve been teased about HANS for awhile. The book tells of a brilliant vigilante, an assassin and basically a ghost the suddenly needs the help of The Alliance.

He fits in perfectly as OTT obsessive of the woman that lives across the street from him.  Cassie is a refreshing change from the other women in that she isn’t trying to fight Hans. Without saying much more, these two turned out to be perfectly matched and this book a satisfying end to the an entertaining series.

Dom by SJ Tilly

The guys from The Alliance have no boundaries when it comes to achieving their goals, so Don fits right in with his well planned manipulations using Valentine to get into The Alliance.

I started reading DOM from the continuity of the overarching theme from all the books. Like a lot of books in series, when Val was a side character, she wasn’t inspiring me to want to know more about her. Also like other series, though, when she’s a star of the story, that changed. Val needed to shed the burden of the past and the unapologetic DOM was the version to show her how to do that.

What I really enjoy about the series is that as it progresses, King and Nero are still the same, still memorable, and still integral the plot.

King by S.J. Tilly

Fasten your seatbelt because KING is a wild ride from start to finish. If the notion of unwittingly taking another woman’s husband as your date to a party she’s also attending is your idea of a meet cute, you’ll love the no hold barred dynamic between King and Savannah.

She’s feisty. He’s relentless. He’d also cushion every baseboard in his house if she stubbed her toe on one of them. It’s steamy, eye opening and has the right amount of bromance with Nero and “touch her and regret it” to make it really entertaining.

Nero by SJ Tilly

A book like NERO is truly appreciated by the fans of the “touch her you die” romance. Nero is our morally gray, smoking hot, insta-loving stalker. Payton is the girl trying to make ends meet and seems afraid of her own shadow. Nero makes her feel safe.  Payton gives him peace.  We all end up happy.
