LOCKED HEARTS picks up a few months after the events concluding the first part of the book.
It has the possessiveness, jealousy and the devotion that I enjoy. There are a few things that get repeated a bit to much, but in the grand scheme of things, it has the dark mafia shootings, clean up crews, betrayal, cutting off of fingers and other things like -in other words, a darn good book.
CHAINED HANDS has so much of what I live in a mafia romance that I can ignore the little things that aren’t quite right. There is nothing I like better than a possessive antihero and Keir is ruthless and totally without empathy except, as time goes on, with Sailor.
There is a lot of push and pull between these two. Sailor starts off meek and compliant with her husband but apparently her true nature comes to the surface when he sells her to Keir.
Part One ends in the kind of chaos that ensures the reader will be reading Part Two right away. That’s what I’ll be doing.
