The Proposal by Adriana Locke

While THE PROPOSAL stars professional rugby players, it isn’t a sport romance.  It’s one of those best friend’s little sister books with the playboy, Renn, never wanting to settle down, and the good girl, Blakely, always picking the wrong kind of guys but wanting that white picket fence and kids.

Blakely is a strong female character I really loved.  She stood up for herself, was funny and had great chemistry with Renn.

Renn was the bad boy you want to see reformed and read the book to see if he does.

Fluke by Adriana Locke

What I loved about this story is that Jess knew what he wanted and even though it didn’t seem to be reciprocated, he never let it get him down and never wavered in his feelings.

Puppy had her baggage that created the conflict in this story.  She was confident in all things but real relationships.

You can’t read one of these Carmichael series books without having interactions with the family members - and the family keeps growing.  The relationship between the brothers is always entertaining, and Banks’ shenanigans gets the spotlight.  I enjoyed the romance and the camaraderie in the story.

More Than I Could by Adriana Locke

Megan is between jobs doing her mother a favor by agreeing to stay with her friend’s son and teenage granddaughter for a month.  Chase’s 14 year old daughter has been testing the boundaries.

This is a really god hot single dad meets and tries to resist smart and sassy temporary nanny.  I liked that they have to fight their attraction and learn to appreciate what the need from another person.

Of course our main characters have issues of their own that take a back seat to what Chase’s daughter Kennedy is going through.  I loved the family part of the story, but it was the chemistry and steamy romance between Chase and Megan that kept me reading.

Flirt by Adriana Locke

FLIRT is funny, heartbreaking, romantic, swoon worthy, and passionate.  Moss is the first of the 5 Carmichael brothers to have his story with the lovely, smart and straight shooting Brooke.

I couldn’t put the book down, it is that good. I laughed at the brothers’ shenanigans and tomfoolery. I swooned at how Moss became the best fake boyfriend ever.  I got a bit misty more than once and I blame all of them at one time or another.

It’s worth it.  Read it.
