Twisted Love by Georgia Le Carre

This is a second chance romance but devoid of the hearts and flowers because Earl is angry, my friends. He feels he was betrayed in the worst way by the person he trusted most. He bided his time perfectly to exact his revenge.

Raven doesn’t know why Earl hates her but she endures his mistreatment - to a point. With all misunderstanding based stories, the truth comes out but not before it doesn’t matter because the love one another anyway.

I enjoyed the book up until the final conflict. I didn’t buy it - but you decide.

Devil in a Suit by Georgia Le Carre

DEVIL IN A SUIT is unputdownable. It is a good Pretty Woman style romance with plenty of action, intrigue, and even some jealousy. Lara is an unexpectedly strong female character and Ivan as infuriatingly arrogant as he is smitten and passionate.

Sweet Poison by Georgia Le Carre

I read the whole book even though I didn’t like it that much. There were a few things that rubbed me the wrong way that are indirectly related to the story.

The overall plot wasn’t bad, but I was really puzzled by several things. The whole Luca/Cole situation was all I really liked about the book. There was something too uncomfortable about Montana before she meets him vs after.

Boss From Hell by Georgia LeCarre

I enjoyed BOSS FROM HELL. It was a fairly typical take on the boss being insanely attracted to the competent PA that was tolerant on the outside and feisty on the inside.

We just wait for what makes him break. We watch his mother intervene in his love life. We know what’s coming to mess things up.  It’s entertaining!

The CEO’s Revenge by Georgia Le Carre

From page one THE CEO’S REVENGE had me in its grasp.  The suspense, intrigue, and intense romance was so entertaining.  Good vs evil meets a lovers to enemies to lovers romance with lots of steam.  And Georgia Le Carre writes steamy scenes that don’t equate length and frequency with quality.  I really enjoyed the story of revenge and interrupted love.

The Other Side of Midnight by Georgia Le Carre

The feel of this whole story is like the gothic romances I used to read.  A remote, drafty castle filled with secrets and a strong, handsome titled gentleman isolating himself from the world for some reason.

I was completely mesmerized by this story and all the mystery surrounding both Autumn and Rocco.  Their relationship turns out to be so unique and at times leaving me with a few tears.  I don’t want to say too much and spoil it for the next reader, but you won’t be disappointed when the secrets are revealed.

Beauty and the Beast by Georgia Le Carre

This book has all my favorite things:  passion, distrust, possessiveness, dark secrets, unimaginable wealth, seduction, and unrequited love.  You are going to love how Luca comes to acquire Skye and the many ways they get under each others’ skin.

Luca doesn’t believe Skye is everything she appears to be so he does what he can to protect himself from attachment.  Skye is forever putting others first even at a steep personal price.

Georgia Le Carre writes books that grip the reader emotionally.  I did get a little weepy at times with this book.  You won’t want to miss it.

Bodyguard Beast by Georgia Le Carre

BODYGUARD BEAST was a good story.  It is not an example of Georgia Le Carre’s best work, however.  I didn’t feel the connection between the characters that I usually feel.  Both Angelo and Sienna were appealing characters, the premise of mafia daughter and her bodyguard should work but I just didn’t feel it which could have been the book or me, so don’t make a decision based on one review.

The Angelo that emerged near the end of the book I would have liked to have seen more about, show his protective nature toward Sienna, and seen how he adapted to his role.

Several characters behaved with inconsistencies that weren’t explained - Sienna, Christine, Nonna, Sienna’s father. - and that left puzzling holes in the story.

So keeping in mind I am a fan of this author, and love this trope, this is also just one person’s opinion on one day but it is my honest opinion.

Saint & Sinner by Georgia LeCarre

I loved this unique story for the pure selflessness of Caleb.  He’s the hero that would sacrifice anything for his love, and he dies so for Willow.

There are two threads of emotion running through most of the story - the passion between Willow and Caleb and how she lightened his life after so much darkness, and the tension from what he had to keep from her and why.  As a reader, you just know all his good intentions to protect Willow just have to blow up in his face, and no one can stop him from making the choices he makes.

I always love how Georgia LeCarre includes music with her books and the important chapters start out with some really epic pieces.  Another thing I really like is when dealing with the past, she incorporates past memories into the story rather than jumping back and forth in time ruining the flow of the story.  Saint & Sinner is a book you won’t want to put down until you are finished with it.

With This Secret - A Billionaire Mafia Romance by Georgia Le Carre

This story has me holding my breath from the very beginning.  Levan and Bianca find each other again.  The chemistry is unmistakable, but to pursue their love is not without far reaching consequences.  Levan proves he genuinely will do anything for the woman he loves.  He is her protector, hero, and she is his everything.

I could not put this book down until I finished it.  Georgia Le Carre never disappoints me when it comes to intense, well written, and engaging romance.

With This Ring - An Enemies to Lovers Romance by Georgia Le Carre

Loved this book!  I wait for new Georgia Le Carre books to come out and sat and read this one from start to finish.  I was entranced with this story and enamored with these characters.  Maxim - strong, silent, feared, but vulnerable to one woman.  Freya - trying so hard to make it on her own terms, fighting her family’s heritage and rejecting their wealth while thinking the worst of Maxim for most of a decade.  Their fathers wanted them to marry to unite the mafia families.  The road to their HEA was rocky, painful and erotic.
