Ella is a feisty single mom in SAVAGE DEVOTION. Logan finds about her by accident and deceives her into thinking he is someone else, someone nonthreatening to her and her daughter.
He falls first. She uncovers his deception and won’t accept it. All that’s left is wondering how they’ll find their way back to one another.
There was enough good in this book for me to want to keep reading to know what happened and it was an ending I would never have predicted.
I like steamy romances, and this one fit that mold but there was something about the beginnings of each relationship that I found a little cringe-worthy.
The humor was there, the dialogue good. The flow felt a little choppy.
This is a fairly predictable Christmas movie type romance complete with the tree lighting, snowball fight, out of towner and sleigh. It was sweet, but a little too cliche for me. I found it hard to buy in to the romance.

I couldn’t put SAVAGE REDEMPTION down once I started reading it. Everything in Hollywood is questionable in its veracity, but Kade Savage was one of the only true, honest things in this story.
It all seemed so contrived - the orchestrations of a contracted (read fake) relationship for the movie star Nova. No outrage over the gimmicks or scripted encounters - until Nova’s brother Andy recruited old friend Kade to be the fake boyfriend.
The history between Andy and Kade was a driving force in the redemption part of the story, in how Nova received and responded to her high school crush Kade appearing in her life after 10 years, and in how Kade’s life had played out up to that point.
There is plenty of surprises, some pining, and a somewhat jaded look at some of the trappings of fame. The secondary characters were colorful and memorable on top of a decent story.

This is just a great story for that taste of holiday romance, family and remembering what is important. The novella length story features the family company CEO and oldest son Roman, and his cute and funny PA Melody whose humble beginnings and relationships show the depth of her heart and character.
There’s a little steam, long hidden feelings, and conspiring friends and family to make Roman see work isn’t everything. While short, one doesn’t feel the story is rushed or missing anything. We also get teased about the next installment of holiday romance for the members of the Cutler family.
