By golly, I don’t think Louise Bay can write a book I don’t like. The characters she created in Ben and Tuesday are unique and perfect for one another. I loved all the references to the fictional romance movies and Tuesday’s true fan devotion, and Ben’s response. It’s a book that made me sigh and smile often.

The Hero + Vegas = No Regrets by Louise Bay

THE HERO + VEGAS = NO REGRETS follows one of the billionaire guy friends in New York.

Worth reminds us that “still waters run deep”. For him, it is love at first sight with Sophia. But Sophia’s life becomes confusing and complicated fast. The romance is strong with these two, but the blow to her stability causes Sophie to question her worth, and Worth (couldn’t resist).

If you like a spicy romance where he falls first and falls hard, you’ll enjoy this.

The Player + The Pact = I Do by Louise Bay

I always wait eagerly for one Louise Bay’s novels about wealthy self-made men that are in a close knit group that trust one another and few others. When a woman finally gets to one of them, they are all (except Byron, apparently) involved in vetting her.

In THE PLAYER + THE PACT, the overall premise is pretty common but I’m there for the great writing, dialogue and relationships.

The Boss + The Maid = Chemistry by Louise Bay

I enjoyed the book because there were some original scenarios involving both characters - secrecy, loyalty, spice, and humor. It hit home the idea of what matters when you have found your person.

Dr. Single Dad by Louise Bay

I loved the whole premise of DR SINGLE DAD. Of course I’ve read a single dad-nanny romance before, but this is a story by Louise Bay. It’s a book I’ve been waiting to read since I finished the last book about the Coves.

Dax is as helpless as his newborn daughter. He thinks he can take her home and put her on the shelf while he continues his life as a research scientist. Hire a nanny, hand off baby, go to work. He didn’t count on a nanny that had a heart of gold and was set on making the new dad love his little girl. 

We revisit other members of the Cove family and the family grows again as the youngest in the family surprises them all.

Dr Fake Fiancé by Louise Bay

I set aside a block of time on release day to read DR FAKE FIANCE and read it from cover to cover in one sitting.  Beau and Vivian’s story of the adventurer/doctor and the pop star was as entertaining as all the Cove Family books so far.  You really don’t have to read the other books to enjoy this one, but each of the brothers have had great stories.

This is a story of bad breakups and avoiding commitment peppered with Vivian’s paranoia about betrayal. Looking forward to the next book in the series.   

Dr. CEO by Louise Bay

DR. CEO is a good story about a billionaire purchasing an estate to turn into a resort with some resistance from the main female character.

The interesting twist is why she’s opposed to the renovation of the historic home she loves so much. After working with Vincent she learns he isn’t only a man of his word, but he is kind and caring as well.

Vincent gives Kate the opportunity to shine in a way she hasn’t before.  She learns her worth and he learns what he values more than wealth.

Hollywood Scandal by Louise Bay

HOLLYWOOD SCANDAL is a book that interested me because Matt’s wild ways had given his image a hit and he was currently being “handled” into improving his image when he met Lana.

Lana had no idea who Matt was and that creates a novel scenario for him that drives much of the story - she’s very different from all the Hollywood women and that is both good and bad for the couple.

Dr. Perfect by Louise Bay

What I didn’t expect about DR. PERFECT is that Zach would be such an enigma.  Quiet, unassuming, and with secrets he burdens himself with.  Ellie I could identify with easily.  She takes charge without being pushy.  She has goals planned out to the time she’ll complete them and knows to the penny how much money she needs.  She’s cautious in relationships.

When I decide to read a book there is usually something in the summary that grabs me like “forced proximity” or “grumpy/sunshine”.  DR PERFECT has both and they are done so well but the reason I decided to read it is because it is written by Louise Bay.  She is one of the handful of authors that write quality books every time and I don’t have to read a summary or see the cover to choose the book.  I loved the book and look forward to finding out what Vincent has been up to in Dr. CEO.

Hopeful by Louise Bay

My favorite second chance romances are those when the loved never died, but circumstances intervened.  HOPEFUL toggles between 8 years in the past, and the present.  

From the first page, the reader can feel the tension and even desperation, at times, for this all consuming set of emotions.  Ava never felt she was good enough for Joel and that was her downfall.

The book really grabbed me except for the last few “past” parts of the story.  I really wanted to know what happened in the present, so the past was dragging that feeling down.  I loved the book in every other way.

Dr. Off Limits by Louise Bay

Louise Bay is one of those authors that writes books I love and I loved DR. OFF LIMITS because of how Jacob and Sutton were right for one another from the very first meeting.  They way they couldn’t help but find their way back to one another despite all the obstacles each put in the way of their relationship was what kept me reading.

Sutton is one of those people that have it all together but refuse to accept it.  She lives life as if she is trying to earn happiness instead of being entitled to it.  Jacob put himself in a difficult position by believing he lived in the shadow of famous, accomplished parents.  He didn’t recognize the magnitude of his own accomplishments.

So what we have primarily is a book about forbidden love between two doctors, one that supervised the other.  It is a little steamy, there is a touch of mean girl in it and it’s thoroughly enjoyable.

Mr. Notting Hill by Louise Bay

Louise Bay is an author that can create a cadre of characters that the reader remembers from book to book.  It doesn’t matter how much time passes between books, they are that memorable.

So when Tristan’s book in The Mister Series came up, I wonder how this flirtatious and charming man - who wasn’t afraid to use either - was going to enter into a relationship with a woman.  

So the fake relationship involving a trust fund marriage with Parker ensues.  Tristan proves to be the sweet and attentive partner that would make any woman swoon.  But, Parker also has a mysterious threat that enables Tristan to show his protective and resourceful skills.

I loved the book and encourage you to read this and any book in this series.

Mr. Park Lane by Louise Bay

Each guy in the Mister series is so different despite their common characteristics of wealth, intelligence, drive and looks.  MR. PARK LANE is used to the finer things in life but when he shows his real self, he’s no ruthless businessman. He’s adorable.

Joshua makes no commitments to women - except he agrees to put his mother’s BFF’s daughter up as she comes back from her doctoring stint in Yemen.  If Joshua loves the finer things in life, Hartford considers sleeping off the floor and regular showers the finer things.

So Hartford and Joshua challenge one another to go on three dates the other one sets up.  Their interactions with friends, coworkers, clients and each other are some of the best parts of the story.

I just loved the book.  It’s sometimes laugh out loud funny, but most of the time “read with a smile” funny.  It makes you feel good to see two good people find one another even if it’s just a story.

Mr. Bloomsbury by Louise Bay

Every time I read another book in this series I am so happy to be revisiting this group of guys but also sad that I have to wait for the next (and last!) one to come out.  They are so worth the wait, though.

Andrew and Sofia’s story is the grumpy boss/PA story, but there is nothing typical about it from how Sofia comes to be his employee to how they end up together the first time.  I kept telling myself to “go to bed” but I couldn’t stop reading this book.

It is full of passion and romantic.  Both main characters are so well written.  The secondary themes were interesting and really added to understanding both Andrew and Sofia.

I just can’t say enough good things about this book.  Highly recommended.

The 14 Days of Christmas by Louise Bay

THE 14 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS is a sweet, swoony read that will get you in the holiday spirit. Sebastian and Celia meet in his grandmother’s hometown of Snowsly (didn’t like that name) to help her avoid a crisis involving their annual Christmas market.

Both are overcoming dark thoughts of Christmases past; Sebastian with avoidance and Celia with positivity.  The townspeople add to the quirky little town and their reliance on each other for success and happiness.

Private Player by Louise Bay

Louise Bay’s books are books I buy without reading the blurb first because they are that good.  PRIVATE PLAYER was interesting because the Nathan that Madison met at the wedding and was assigned to interview was relentless and focused on working hard and playing hard.  He seemed jaded about women and how his reputation as a womanizer could jeopardize his CEO position.

That impression of him changed 180 when he took Madison with him to a weekend at his parent’s home.  She felt the trip would give her more background for her story.  Instead she found Nathan as the son and brother of an ambitious, successful yet unpretentious family.  And Madison fell in love with him.

I wanted more of the romance part of the story.  There were subplots involving his friend, his business and Madison’s journalist connection.  I also wanted more of his family yet it appears I will get my wish next year when his brother Jacob’s story comes out.

Mr. Mayfair by Louise Bay

The characters were all written well written and their chemistry and banter made for an interesting story.

Beck is from the other side of the tracks and he is the first of his group of five wealthy bachelors to find true love.  This is the best kind of romance for me when the guy who has no deep connections to most people and doesn’t do relationships gets struck by Cupid’s arrow.

Stella is in a low point relationship and career wise.  Coming up with a deal with Beck to fake date him so he can pursue a business deal at a wedding would have tested anyone’s limits since the wedding was of the guy who was her boyfriend 2 months ago.

It is a hot, steamy story with the bonus of Beck and Stella realizing why they complete each other.

The Ruthless Gentleman by Louise Bay

Leave it to Louise Bay to pen another engrossing romance with a wealthy British gentleman.  This was a really clever corporate espionage story combined with sailing the high seas on a super yacht with a crew ready to meet every need.

But Hayden had modest needs and really just wanted a private place to work.  Avery was the Chief Stewardess and responsible for making every wealthy client’s visit impeccable.  She needed a well paying job like this to send money home for her disabled brother’s care.

So the yacht business created client/employee boundaries Avery and Hayden struggled not to cross. Hayden saw Avery’s kindness, intelligence and loyalty as one of the bright places in a world where he was accustomed to being suspicious about everyone.

I loved that Avery wasn’t manipulative or putting on airs to impress.  Hayden was great because he appreciated what not only she did for him, but the perspective she gave him about areas of life he was cynical about.  It was such a good story And I am glad Hayden’s brother Landon’s story is next.

Indigo Nights by Louise Bay

I loved INDIGO NIGHTS as much as the Empire States series by Louise Bay that I just finished.  She creates the most delicious heroes that need the independent, spirited women she finds for them.

In INDIGO NIGHTS the issue of living with sobriety is a part of the story.  We learn about Beth’s vulnerable times and how they contribute to how she is in relationships, especially with Dylan.  

Dylan will melt your heart.  He’s one of those guys that doesn’t do relationships, has a few one night stands here and there, but when he falls, he’s all in.  

The conflicts that arise challenge the trust the relationship is built on.  You will enjoy reading about how they meet and navigate through their careers on two continents.  It’s romantic and steamy.

New Year in Manhattan by Louise Bay

Book 3 of the Empire State Series starts right where Book 2 leaves off with Ethan returning to NY alone and Anna wondering if they want the same things because he didn’t ask her to come with him.

The best thing about this book was Anna having friends in London that didn’t reinforce her growing insecurities about where things were going with Ethan.  It saved a lot angst too have friends that didn’t feed that beast.

The same goes for Ethan.  If he hadn’t had Mandy and Andrew looking out for him, we might still be waiting for this story to reach a satisfying conclusion.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire series and look forward to finding more Louise Bay books to read .
