Captive of the Bratva King by Aria R. Blue

What you will get with CAPTIVE OF THE BRATVA KING is a story that will satisfy your appetite for OTT obsessive MMC romance. Dimitri is so obsessed it is a miracle he has time to be a Bratva Pakhan. He is so immersed in Briar from the first page.

What you will also get is so much spice, bunnies will look lazy. Dimitri not only speaks loudly with his actions, but he is particularly talented with his words.

I did have a little trouble following some things in the story that took place in other books in the series, and this book ended rather abruptly. I can offer my opinion after reading an early copy of the book, and I recommend it for people that enjoy dark mafia and obsessive romance.

Corrupted by the Saint by Aria R. Blue

If you like possessive and protective heroes, you will enjoy Armando in CORRUPTED BY THE SAINT. Saint is his mafia name. He meets Hazel and is smitten upon eye contact. From then it becomes a push and pull about will she fit in his world and should she even try to.

So the struggle occurs between Armando and Hazel, the secrets she is keeping from him, and the danger to both her and Armando because of his role in the Mafia. The famous Innocenti mafia plays a prominent role in this story along with “suspend your belief” work they are doing to beef up their forces for world domination,

A little over way through the book it gets very twisty. The loose ends are tied up, but some are a little too coincidental making it a little too much in such a short amount of book.

The writing is good. The book is really steamy and if you like the possessive steamy hero and the innocent yet fierce heroine, you’ll enjoy this book.

The Beast’s Captive by Aria R. Blue

BEAST’S CAPTIVE is the second book in a series. I found it helpful to read the first book about Inessa’s sister Vera. This book takes place roughly two years after the start of The Killer’s Vow.

I enjoyed Inessa and Andrei’s story because it started with Andrei escaping from a Russian prison he was railroaded into being sent. Andrei had a heartbreaking childhood and was seeking vengeance.

I really liked how much Inessa had grown since Killer’s Vow, becoming much smarter, loyal, and the perfect person to heal some of the wounds Andrei lived with. Together they were smoking hot and the descriptive passages of their encounters were quite colorful.

The book was slow in places and there are a few people to keep track of to be able to follow the story and its plot twists.

The Killer’s Vow by Aria R. Blue

THE KILLER’S VOW is a good story but the way it was told did not appeal to me. It was slow plot-wise, but clipped along at an attractive rate relationship-wise. I found myself wanting the story to feel more urgent in terms of the secrets and suspense.

There were some very appealing scenes in the book like the party close to beginning, but not enough time was devoted to those scenes. I started to lose track of what was important because there seemed to be a lot of unnecessary information. I thought I would need some of this to figure out the mystery but much of it was not extremely important.

I really liked both main characters, though. Each were easy to rationalize as “good people” even though they had some, let’s say… bad acts.

I did receive a copy to read in advance, but since it was already published and on KU, I opted to read the version that would enable the author to be compensated.

Dancing with the Devil by Aria R. Blue

This series cannot be beat for heat and violence.  I loved it.  I was waiting to see what havoc would be created by the Innocentis and find out how Ivy had been saved by her “enemy”.

What makes this book so good is Ivy’s abundance of attitude that comes with being a woman groomed to lead a mafia family.  The pairing with Damian, an Innocenti, was a formula for trouble.  However, Aria R. Blue brings these two together resulting in passion on several levels.

I can’t say enough good things about this series but recommend you read the books one after the other for the best experience.  There is so much going on - and all of it important - that I had to reread half of the second book to enjoy this one because of the month or so between their release dates.

Aria R. Blue is an author that will be added to my “must read” list.

Mr CEO Daddy by Aria R. Blue

MR CEO DADDY is an age difference romance with Gideon being about 20 years older than princess Victoria, his best friend’s daughter.  Their romance is forbidden, passionate, and well worth the read all alone.

But, aside from the romance the intrigue going on in Sierran continues from book 1 and gets resolved somewhat how I thought it might, but then we are hit with another bunch of new twists to carry us into Book 3!  

Mr. Baby Maker by Aria R. Blue

This novella length story has all the elements of a good fairy tale.  The reader has to suspend reason to a degree and not worry about what “normal” people would do.  Enjoy the story for the delicious escape that it is.

MR BABY MAKER takes us to the family of a fictional kingdom in the Atlantic where Brody is the Crown Price that must wed before he can inherit his riches and ascend to the throne.  He meets Violet unexpectedly on a trip to America and their meeting is passionate.

The novella introduces us to circumstances and people for future stories.  It does seem that an overarching theme for all of the stories will be finding out what happened to Grandmother Eleanor.

The editing needs some improvement because there is not always good flow between events in the book.  For example, on the day Violet arrives by plane in Sierran, she meets Brody’s family at a meal.  A little later that day someone mentions there is a ball that night and Violet has to pick out a dress and start getting ready three hours before the ball.  The ball come out of nowhere, but seems to be an important launching point for several of the other stories.

Sold To The Enemy by Aria R. Blue

SOLD TO THE ENEMY is one of the most intense, mesmerizing romances I have read this year.  Nothing has come close to the insane devotion between Nico and Luna.  It is passionate and all consuming.

Luna has her ethereal beauty combined with the kind of strength needed in a wife.  The only time she felt safe enough to give up control was with Nico.

The second half of the book has some of the best action and plot twists.  I thought the second part should been twice the length to take advantage of all the intriguing and dark directions the story took.  The taste we were given of the magnitude of what was happening made me want to know more - more about Ivy and Luna’s travels, Damien, Armando and Hazel, the Innocentis and things like what happened to Leo, Emma and the twins.  I enjoyed the book but also felt there was a lot of potential for more.

Knocked Up By The Beast by Aria R. Blue

At first, this reads like a fairy tale.  A little simple, fantastical and a little too far from a real feeling story.

Then, I started to get that over the top possessive, obsessed, hot steamy instant love vibe and thought, “I deserve this little escape from reality today.”

Then, it was all about what Leo couldn’t reveal “just yet” and where Belle was forbidden to go in the mansion, and suddenly, I’m all in turning the pages without taking a break.  I had to know, too!  

It was well worth the wait as the tone of the book changed from a fairy tale to something deliciously darker.  Leo and Belle had chemistry that was off the charts.  A male character proficient the the art of dirty talk that has the skills to back it up is priceless.  Let’s just say it’s a great book to read and I hope there is another on the way to tell us Nico’s story.
