Landon holds a secret that has controlled his life and created a great deal of baggage for any person. Andi and her sisters were raised by a grandfather that had a hotel and a secret club they didn’t know about. Her grandfather’s obstacles set to receiving any inheritance were at the hands of Landon. If she didn’t comply, Landon received everything. Andi knew Landon was hiding something from her so although drawn to him, it was hard for her to trust him.
Andi is ever the jokester making metaphors that might make one cringe in their “earthiness”. Landon sees through that as her defense mechanism much like the power and control he seeks in the club is his. They are an interesting and well written pair. I enjoyed the book.
