Book 2 of the series picks up the murder/mystery from Book 1 and continues to unravel the truth with Ryan at the center of the story.
The feel of this story is so sultry. Sophie is the gorgeous, intelligent, wealthy philanthropist sister that catches Ryan’s eye in a big way. Without her asking, Ryan seems to know just what she wants and has not been able to find in other men - someone that will take control so she can give in to mindless pleasure.
Ryan harbors secrets he has kept hidden for 18 years. Let me just say Sophie is such a beautiful person for him to love, and you will swoon when he finally realizes he’s in love with her.
Like Book 1, the romance in Book 2 reaches its satisfying conclusion at the end, but another brick is added to the mystery to be discovered in Book 3 with Colin’s story.
