Lyle and twin sister Sandy went to high school with Dalia. They were from different sides of the track, so to speak and Sandy noticed Dalia’s crush on Lyle and went full fledged mean girl, ruining what her brother wanted as well.
They meet later as adults when Dalia is hired by Lyle and Sandy’s company. The light shines forbidden romance with the boss as soon as she walks in the room. Lyle has been pining for her all this time.
I love a second chance romance with couples that know the depth of their feelings. There are obstacles to overcome before they are happy together, but even when there is anger, jealousy and other things that create uncertainty, they can always fall back in their feelings and get through it. It helps that their chemistry is smoking hot, too.
