I thoroughly enjoyed this friends to lovers book with the hockey theme. Justin is a fun guy that didn’t take things too seriously until he did. Libby needed confidence to be comfortable with relationships and she asked Justin to help her with that.
I am not a hockey fan, but the amount of detail about the game in the story was just right. Also just right was the amount of passion. The secondary characters like Libby’s sister and Justin’s friend, Brendan were clearly poised for their own story.
I have read Lili Valente’s books before and I am glad to see her joining the Hero Club group.
