This novella was full of contradictions. Alice would seem shy and soft spoken at times - usually related to work, but much more confident and sensual on the personal side. James was the opposite and that made fit an interesting read.
There definitely was instant love and just the right amount of interference by an ex to keep things from running too smoothly.
If you like things moving swiftly and don’t have as much time as you’d like you a full length book, you might enjoy this novella.
