This is a really good book because of the number of things going on with first Leigh and Andy and the Ashley and Drew. The parallel stories intersecting was a big part of the first half of the book. I tried to predict how that was going to turn out (and was wrong). The only part I thought was slow was going through the Chicago landmarks. The facts were a little dry and since Drew grew up on the south side, he would have almost certainly have been a White Sox fan, not a Cubs fan :-).
Ashleigh and Drew’s combustible relationship gradually builds to the high of new love but then quickly starts to go south and no one can stop the damage. A good author can take you to the highest of highs and then have you so invested in the couple that you as the reader feel the devastation of those low points.
If you like a story of a billionaire used to giving orders and getting everything he wants meeting his match in a young, independent and strong woman, you will enjoy this book.
