This is the first book I’ve read by Jacob Chance and It has enticed me to read more. I chose to read MANFAX first because the idea of having a Carfax type thing for men one was dating was clever.
The characters of Roxanne and Adam were appealing. Both had been burned in the past, were hard working, and weren’t looking for a relationship. Their transformation during the story was welcome because Roxanne initially comes off as judgmental, and Adam tries too hard to charm her and looked like a jerk.
The supporting characters were memorable and some aspects of the plot were a little predictable but Chance kept it interesting with little surprises here and there.
