Normally I can say exactly what drew me to read a particular book, but I’m not sure what it was with THE SECRET BRIDESMAID. Even so, what I found that made it a man excellent choice is the humor, the emotion and the really terrific characters - not only Sophie/Emily, but Cordelia, Jonathan and even Lord Meade.
I found myself admiring Sophie’s ability to turn any situation to positive and felt the same things she did when things went well, and when they didn’t.
If you are ready for a book on the relationships between friends and family in times of joy and struggle, peppered with some really intelligent humor, you’ll enjoy this book, too.
