While it wasn’t for me, I can appreciate the skill and creativity that went into this Cocky Suits Chicago Christmas novel. I loved all the Cocky Suits books, but I never watched any of the Die Hard movies.
The romance between Matthew and Karli wasn’t very smooth but I liked it for the most part. Karli’s character fit in well with the women of The Hunter Group. Matthew was a little harder to warm up to because at first his actions and feelings made him seem superficial and then he swung right into being intense.
So, good book, but not to my particular taste.
