Travis and Elizabeth have the grumpy/sweet pairing down, but Travis is the sweet one and Elizabeth the grump until she becomes one of the many to succumb to his charm.
The story itself is original and kept my interest throughout. Once Mr. Meatball was mentioned, I remembered the characters from the connected books in the series. This is a standalone and any overlapping story parts are touched on by the author so you won’t feel you are missing something.
