Loyalty That Binds by A.J. Wyatt

Very good book about the soon to be mafia Don, the woman he can’t have and why he can’t have her.  It had rival mobs, people getting beat up in basements for information, bullets in legs, made men. nightclubs with exotic dancers and much more.

Neal is the possessive hero I like to read about.  He could someone for even saying Amelia’s name.  I do have to say Neal Sanders is about the least mafia name I can think of, though.

Amelia is smart and no pushover.  She agrees with Neal that their love forbidden but like him, weakens easily. Neal tries to protect her and ends up hurting her.  His uncle (and current Don) sees her as a way to get to Neal which is curious because he has been grooming him to take over since he became a Made Man.

So we have cliffhanger and maybe we find out finally what Uncle Romero has up his sleeve?

I received an advance copy of this book to read.  This is my voluntary review.
