THE BOSS is the first book in the Men of Hidden Justice series but I read the others first. Every one has a slightly different feel in the romance department. The suspense and story of the work of the Hidden Justice Team is always interesting. Evie and Matteo meet while he is out doing the “dirty work” on a job.
Theirs is best characterized as insta-love. They have an intense romance throughout the whole story. She starts out shivering and shaking in fright and becomes a strong partner for Matteo. She considers making his home and caring for him her most important work. His obsession is her safety and protection.
There is a lot of suspense, danger, intrigue and love. A good book!
