This book kept me up most of the night. I had to find out what happened. Aiden and Raven were to join two mafias in marriage. But Raven has things she is hiding from Aiden.
Raven was abused by her first husband. We were both surprised she felt safe with Aiden so easily. I takes them awhile and some shared truths to bring them closer together, but Raven keeps her secret to save her sister Louise.
This story has quite a bit of wet work, several people get shot, women are mistreated, and the leadership of the Irish mafia is teetering on destruction. But what we learn about Aiden bodes well for Raven and vice versa.
