THE TOURIST ATTRACTION is the first in a series of books that take place in Moose Springs, Alaska. The first book not only had to tell the story of Zoey (tourist) and Graham (townie), but also introduced the important secondary characters the will no doubt be the subject of subsequent books
I really liked this book first for the romance and then for the humor. The author doesn’t go for the cheap laughs - the humor is intelligent, playful (Zoey), and I don’t know how to describe Graham’s humor. He’s funny without even trying. It’s a fairly typical resort vacation in a small town romance, and for me the humor brought the writing to a higher level.
