Both Carter and Juniper are great characters. Each added humor to the story in their own way - Juniper with her sassy remarks and Carter with his deeply ingrained devotion to everything safe.
This has all the small town elements - eccentric family members, a “city boy” displaced to the country and a live for the closeness a small town affords.
I didn’t feel the romance with this story. At times it got too eccentric changing how I liked the characters. Many of the ideas were really unique and that kept me reading the story.
I read all the books these authors collaborate on, and this one just fell short for me.
I received an advance copy from the authors. This is my voluntary review.
