THE VOW was the perfect title for this book. When The Auction (book 1) ended, things were really rocky for Blakely and Riggs. Gone was our confident, dominant Riggs as he had to face the fallout for what he had done in book 1.
Blakely’s career, the betrayal, and Rigg’s revenge created suspense, emotional pain , and scads of indecision and miscommunication. I had a few on my list to slap some sense into, but being a book - even an excellent one - made that impossible.
I could not stop turning the pages, though. I was that good.
