As the title suggests, THE WIDOW’S GUIDE TO SECOND CHANCES is the second chance romance about healing from losing a spouse to death. Devon is forced to return to the town she lived in when her husband was killed as part of a scheme concocted by her late grandmother. She ends up facing the people and issues she ran from 5 years hence.
The book is a good cast of small town characters predictably up in everyone’s business. Both Aaron and Devon have deep seated issues that fuels the angst and conflict in the story. The romance is top notch. There is a good dose of steam, and we come to really like the family and friends, their small town quirks and the warm sense of community.
