The story for Bling was pretty decent involving wayward siblings, personal danger, politics, protective intrigue and a decisive, dynamic alpha that could solve just about anything with a single phone call and money.
Isabelle was a dynamo when it came to working and having the knowledge to do just about anything that was asked if her. She lacks confidence, seeks constant reassurance and tries to please everyone else without regard to her needs. Garrett takes her welfare seriously yet resorts to threats of punishment too much for my taste. They start a D/s relationship in the club Solitaire then. As things heat up, the boundaries for their relationship get extended.
I liked the intrigue in the story linen - that kept me reading more than the relationship between Isabelle and Garrett. I felt the actual day to day interactions ere stilted and formal.
