Taking up where The Perfect Wife left off, we find out some of the unanswered questions as Davian finds where Salko is holding Reyna. She seems to be smarter about what it means when Davian denies some of her indulgences to protect her.
Reyna is more fragile after suffering at Salko’s hands. What seems to happen more in this part of the story is we see all the things being revealed starting to have an effect on the calm Davian projected.
THE PERFECT ESCAPE ends in a particularly titillating cliffhanger that makes me eager for the next book, The Perfect Lie.
