This book was a little off the mark for me because it was hard to find something likable about either main character. I like the cocky, rough cowboy and the feisty female, but I could always find their vulnerabilities appealing at some point.
In this case, the will stipulation that forced Jake and Madisen to “work together” went predictably awry given the history of our two main characters. I liked the passion and detail of the encounters.
