Veiled Treasure by Measha Stone

Gregor is a serious man and when Hanna stands up to him he believes in correcting and protecting her from impulsive and reckless behavior. It doesn’t take long before Hanna tests Gregor and he remains serious about her compliance.

She, however, often has other ideas.  She ran from her brothers and an arranged marriage to a man that eventually died.  She valued her freedom but was in danger.  Gregor took her, protected her and claimed her.

Gregor and Hanna have what might look like a power imbalance in their romance, but Hanna gains power over Gregor as she learns to trust him.  Their passion brings them closer but Hanna won’t stay with Gregor as long as she feels she is nothing more than a possession to him.

I really liked the ending because they go their separate ways for a time.  I read the other books in this series, and I think this one is my favorite because of how impossible It seemed to rattle Gregor.
