Leif and Layla come from completely different worlds and that’s what drives this story. You have one person that thinks of everyone but herself and another who has compartmentalized his life so his work life, dating life, and family life never intersect…until he meets Layla and suddenly all that control he wields so proudly in each area is disrupted by the woman he hires as his daughter’s nanny.
The nanny-boss angle of the book is fairly typical but the source of the conflicts make this a decent read. The billionaire single dad angle is one of my favorites. I did think we were reminded of the nature of the conflicts too often at times.
