I wasn’t expecting such a witty, quirky and laugh-out-loud funny romance when I chose to read RULES OF ENGAGEMENT. I did choose because I like matchmaker romances, and while that was a prevailing theme in the story, it was really the characters that make this a stand out book.
Maddie the matchmaker is prim, proper and dresses “like a librarian.” She is supposed to find a match for an angry, selfish star quarterback, Mason Spark. They are great characters supported by two quirky side-kicks. Read it for a good time.
