MR. REED is Mason Reed the CEO and owner of the company Daisy worked for - in fact she was Mason’s very accomplished EA.
The story is the kind I like because Mason kept himself apart from others except when it came to his business. He had his reasons. He was demanding, grouchy, but also very good at what he did. Daisy was one of the few that could “handle” Mr. Reed and they kept everything efficient and businesslike.
Until Mason needed a wife, that is. The sunny Daisy and grumpy Mason were suddenly forced together due to Daisy’s loyalty to her boss. But then they let themselves notice one another and an ember that had been burning for a few years was suddenly a raging fire.
The small amount of drama and angst make MR. REED a good romance.
