The basic story in ROYALLY NOT READY is an old one. Lilly is the only unacknowledged heir to a small country somewhere in the north. Keller, the king’s personal assistant is given the task to retrieve her from Miami, train her in the culture and traditions of the nation and give her a chance to decide if she wants to be the heir forever.
I enjoyed the book so much because Lilly was a great character. She annoyed poor Keller and worked diligently at it. She was really funny, quirky, and uninhibited.
Keller struggled throughout the story to reconcile his feelings for Lilly and he belief that he shouldn’t be looking above his station.
What pushes this couple over the edge from tension played out in the form of annoying one another to a coupling? It’s a good book, so find out.
