This is a gripping, intense novel of obsession and possession. The writer chooses words that describe without being unwieldy. She creates characters with mysterious layers that keep getting more complex, rather than transparent as more is revealed.
I still don’t know after the first book, who is the “good guy” and who is the “bad guy”. Luca is so intriguing, Dante raises all kinds of alarms. Olivia’s confusion makes the romance more powerful. I can’t wait to see what happens next! I loved it!
